“Murmurations”

Is the title of my project, which depicts the incredible aerial dance of the starlings’ flight. I had the privilege of witnessing the beauty of their formations in flocks; there is so much to learn from nature.

This group of birds joins together to create a sort of protective barrier against predators; they fly in perfect synchronisation, forming beautiful patterns in the sky. Perhaps we could learn from the starlings, so that we do not live in a bubble of our own individualism.

Material: Epoxy resin, coloured pigments, lentils.
Technique: Handcrafted, handmade, unique piece.
